You Want to Better Understand Yourself

Identity, self-esteem, relationships, personal growth, and neurodivergence (Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, AD(H)D, Learning Differences)

Sometimes therapy begins with a simple question:

“Why am I like this?”

Maybe you notice patterns in your relationships that you want to understand. Maybe you find yourself questioning who you are, what you want, or whether the life you are building feels authentic to you. Maybe you have spent years adapting to what others need from you or masking to be who you think others want you to be, and now you are ready to reconnect with yourself.

Many people come to therapy not because something is “wrong,” but because they want to develop a deeper understanding of who they are and why they experience the world the way they do.

Together, we can explore your values, relationships, experiences, and the patterns that have shaped you. Therapy can be a place to build self-compassion, strengthen your sense of self, and better understand what you need to feel fulfilled and connected.

I also enjoy working with adults who are exploring questions around neurodivergence, including individuals who identify as or wonder if they may be on the autism spectrum. Many people come to therapy after years of feeling different, misunderstood, or exhausted from trying to fit into expectations that do not always feel natural. Therapy can be a space to make sense of your experiences and explore what it means to move through the world in a way that feels more authentic.

“Slow down. Calm down. Don’t worry. Don’t hurry. Trust the process.”
