About Dr. Jenn

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in California, and my office is located in the San Fernando Valley in Woodland Hills. I have worked in a variety of settings and with a wide range of populations. My training includes working with the 0-5 population, children and families, individuals, and couples. I have experience working with clients on relationship issues, anxiety, mood disorders (including depression), working with individuals with developmental disabilities, parenting issues, clients in immediate crisis, as well as individuals affected by a history of sexual abuse and trauma.
In my current practice, I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families with a variety of different presenting problems. Most of my clients are simply looking to improve their relationships, deal with anxiety or depression, gain more insight into themselves, or are dealing with major transitions in their lives. One of my areas of expertise includes working with young adults and adults with high functioning autism and Asperger’s Syndrome, as well as couples and families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders. I additionally enjoy helping college, graduate students, and young professionals navigate the stressors associated with school or work, in addition to personal challenges such as relationships, life transitions, anxiety, identity development, and self-esteem. Mental health for parents is also incredibly important to me, and near and dear to my heart. I am especially passionate about helping new mothers to improve their sense of well-being, and hold a certificate on perinatal mental health and mood disorders from PSI (Postpartum Support International) in order to better help new parents navigate the difficult journey into parenthood (including postpartum depression). In addition to seeing new parents individually in my practice, I co-facilitate a therapeutic mommy and me class, called Nurturing Me & Baby.
